This may be a dumb question, but can split rims be welded or widened by those wheel companies like Stockton tire that do rim mods?

These wheels are 16 x 5.5

The tires on them now are 7.50 x 16 Goodyear light truck tires. with lots of tread but showing dry rot cracks. One has a blowout from running over a nail.

I could dismount the tires, but the price is the same.
