tow that boat... I need to know how it will work since I will most likely be towing a two horse trailer within the year.
Of all the stuff replaced, what do you think was the biggest culprit of the clunk?

If this is as good as it sounds I may have a brand spankin new 350 for sale soon!

Land Speeder,

I would say the Birfs and the drive flanges. Both had a large amount of play in them. My Birfs would click when cranked hard left or right in an accelerated turn.

I'll tow that boat soon.

A 350 would be nice, but the 3FE can hang in there as a comfortable DD with the right gears.

I have a LC friend a previous, *B*J70 owner he absolutly dispises the 3fe for its popular opinion of others.

I used to live in coastal NC and there are places you can drive on the beach.

With that said, I think of the conditions the motor is going through and cant amagine (I can) puting an aluminum head in those situations.

All it takes is a few seconds to over heat aluminum, the time it takes for Iron might just save your life.

Hanywho...........

Im not sure what Im reading here???
