Regearing to the Nitro 4.88's tomorrow on my 200. Will that change my speedo? I know on some vehicles it does some it doesn't. with 285/75/R17's I'm hoping itll actually change it back to being a bit closer. Otherwise I'll have to order a Yellr Box or something similar. Thanks for the info.
 
Like you said, some do, some don't. Depends on the speedo reference. Most cars these days reference the abs sensors on the wheel hub which won't need correcting. Rather than the tranny output shaft, or transfer case output shaft. I think you'll be just fine, but someone else should confirm.

No, diff gear changes won't change speedometer reading on a 200. Speed is read from wheel sensors.

If you can find a way to change the speed output reading on a 200, you'll be a legend. No one has been able to do it yet.
