Mark's 4wd conversions are developing a Cruiser Crawler box that goes on the back of the T/case.

On the early trucks there are no exterior tcase mods, on the later, you will need to grind some on the outer case to fit the crawl box. You can also change out the later mid case and rear case sections to those from an earlier truck and avoid any exterior mods. With this mod you will need a longer rear driveshaft. On both cases, internally you need to grind a pair of ears in front of the input shaft bearing for clearance.

There is a gearset available through Advance Adapters for i beleive a 25% reduction in low for $1300.oo not near 4:1 but it is way cheaper

Just called AA and they do not stock this gear set but can get it just like they can get the crawl box. 6-8 weeks timeframe. The crawl box was cheaper than I thought... only $2400 + $96 shipped to CO so I will probably go that route when I get some $$.

Slee can also get this crawl box for a good price and I imagine the low gear set as well.

Who else has the cruiser crawler box installed besides Slee?

very very nice .. for extreme rigs .. !ª

I have the crawler box in the shortbus. You need a body lift, little change to the crossmember and changes to the gas tank. So for most people this rules out the fitment. That said, it was the best mod I ever did to it. Allows great control on the trail and it allows me to crawl over stuff without winding the motor up to get going.
