The third annual LowCountry Boil will be held again this year at Carolina Beach.

Registration is $35.00 each, and includes Saturday night meal and one (1) shirt. Spouse $10.00 (kids are free)

There will be camping on the beach, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, kayaking, swimming, and a raffle Sat. after supper.:bounce:

Other things to do in the area include Historic Ft. Fisher, the NC Aquarium, and restaurants close by.:bounce2:

We will plan to meet at Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach at 10:00am and convoy to the ferry to take us across to Ft. Fisher.
Should put us on the beach by 1:00 when we can set up camp and start the days activities.:hhmm:

Additional T-shirts will be available for $15.00:D

Payment plans will be worked out very soon. :o

Any Early Arivials?

Anyone want to try to get there early? Last year the weather was sketchy so we did not have trouble setting up camp at the end around the corner.

That may not be the case this year...it is the best spot if someone could get there early and stake our claim???:hhmm:

My work schedule does not allow for planning that far in advance (anymore). If I can cut out early and do it I will, but wont know until the week of the boil.

let us know

Thanks

Tim,

Thanks, hope you can make it. I would like to bring a boat and thought of beaching it at the end of the beach just inside the inlet. I can't remember how much of tide dropped there and if it was feasible. What do you think? How many miles are you from the beach?

It'll be a game-time decision for me as I don't think I am going to prepay for anything. If the shirts are available at the boil for purchase, or the there is enough food I might pay and join in, otherwise I'll just fend for myself and hang out with everyone.

What do you guys have for food? And which night is the biggest dinner? I know I went the first year and I had to miss the second night and that turned out to be the best dinner. Plus the first one they didn't supply beverages, will beverages be supplied?

Also I will ask the previous question again: Does the $35 cover a raffle ticket? How much for additional tickets? Y

Also will the shirts be available at the boil or will we get them down the road?

Jeremy

SATURDAY NIGHT IS THE BOIL - BYOB
We have offered a meal on Friday (chicken bog), but we could adjust price and eliminate it, pending approval of attendees?

RAFFLE - YES ONE, OTHERS ON SALE FOR THE CUSTOMARY $1 EACH

SHIRTS - PREPAID ATTENDEES GET THEM AT BOIL - WE USUALLY HAVE EXTRAS TO SELL

Now just imagine if everyone did that. There wouldn't be any t-shirts or any food because there wouldn't be any money to buy it if everybody waited to the last moment.:flipoff2:

My wife and I will be coming.
The shirt shop needs sizes ASAP. If get sizes by Monday, we can have shirts by middle of September. I'll get a shirt thread started so people can place orders. Still haven't heard from David B.

We might show up at the last minute! Would that be alright??

shout NOT be a problem .... :D

;) Sorry, "Freudian slip", I was going to say, we have several that have asked to "show up" at the last minute. If it is one or two that is fine, we understand scheduling issues and will have enough food. Cooking a boil has a minimum quantity (per person) and we have not hit it yet. SO, a few drop ins ARE welcome and encouraged.

Thanks for catching that, Brock!
