What kind of gaskets go with the thermostat. My cruiser runs a little cold going down hills and it's not even that cold here. The only gasget I have is the one that goes between the upper thermostat housing that you take off in order to get to the thermostat and the engine block. I am in the process of geting the parts toput in a Mechanical temp gage to see the real temps.

I have an 85 BJ70 and replaced the thermostat probably 2 or 3 times. It doesn't say anything in 3B engine manual about an "O" ring, they mention the gasket only. Am I missing something here? Do you have a part number, I am looking at page 1-K2 in microfiche and i see only the part number 16341-56020 for the gasket and there is NO "O" ring. ?????????????
