Wanted 3B Main Bolt 13x1.5 (FOR CRANKSHAFT BEARING CAP)

13mm x 1.5 Main Bearing Bolt for a 3b, I just need one.

One of mine has hour-glassed and stretched...part is discontinued. It's a weird size, not available at any bolt-supply house. If I can't find one, I'll have to tap it out to 14 mm, thought I'd give it a shot up here first.

I made an inquiry to JP-Carparts and they said it wasn't available in Japan either.

Package arrived, (thanks) but alas, they're too small. Still looking. I think the ones Greg sent are later. The one I need is 1980-84.

Mine is on the left (note the deformation of the threads) It takes a 22mm socket NOT a 19mm., coarser threads and longer.

The shop has already assembled the mains and crank, so I really don't want to have to disassemble and drill/tap to a different size.

looks like i have the bolts that you are looking for, gerg is going to grab them from me and send them to you dan. (on a side note i have a brand-new cam for your motor if your interested $150)

Thanks guys. Thanks for the offer on the cam, wish I'd known about it before I invested in mine. I had mine machined, cost more than $150 too, and it's installed.
