I got tired of patching my intake tube on the Troopy. It was cracked nearly all the way around.
A quick measurement told me that the outside diameter of the small end of the rubber tube is about the same as the diameter of the filter lid.
So I cut the rubber tube short on the engine side to use as a spacer.
Then used #11 SCEET tubing (2 3/4") to connect it up.
