Decided to put the tires in a new thread. I guess I'm needy and wanted some attention :o, but I don't have many folks here who appreciate a purchase like tires... The :princess: gave me the green light to buy, and she knows this hobby borders on the edge of obsession at times, but big tires don't put a smile on her face. First pic:

sweet man... they put a smile on my face, good luck with them. Love the flat black rig by the way.

Yeah I needed to do the UV top coat on the Herculiner, I just never found the time. I'm thinking of going with gray Herculiner or Durabak when I get to Colorado Springs. Thanks for the compliment though man. I only have three weeks left on Guam and I don't think I'm going to soil the armor just to let it rust on the boat ride back to the mainland. So most likely no action shots. I might put it on the ramp down at 671 Motorsports. That will be about as much action as your going to see until my first trail ride in Colorado !

NICE!! I am pretty sure 38.5x11 boggers are my favorite tire out there. Lookin' very good.

nice! looking good.

anyone know how these tires would perform on the rocks?

Action shots or vids please.

They are actually pretty tame on the road compared to what I was expecting. As far as rock, I'm going to sipe them and maybe even groove them. This should up their rock performance. I'll let you know more in a couple of months when I take the vehicle out in Colorado for the first time.

You guys are really tempting me to hit the trails here in Guam one last time so I can post some action pics...:hhmm: It is just so da** muddy here though man! Rust happens so quick, and I'll be dragging all the new armor through the slop and then trying to run damage control with the corrosion. We'll see :meh:.

That sawzall work makes those tires fit very nice. :) I know the site is called I hate mud and all but you also know which word goes in front of the Bogger Right? I say tear it up cuz I'm sure there is a carwash in guam that doesn't mind a little mud.

lets see some action shots...hit the trail, take some pics, and promptly hit the carwash. i wont ever buy boggers, but they look really good on your cruiser. the narrow width makes the whole package look awesome. how much street time do you plan on that rig seeing anymore?

It is my daily driver, but I will be living on the US Air Force Academy less than a mile from the clinic I work in, so no real commute. We'll see if I get out on the trails ;)...

After driving these tires around for the past two days, they have exceeded my expectations and I have no regrets. I can handle the road noise, and they are quickly becoming my favorite mod/purchase of all time !

Sweet looking, bet that body lift is coming in handy now. Still haven't done mine yet, but will soon. I'm just gonna buy the kit, its only like a buck twenty five, but I suppose I then won't have the jing to afford 38.5's. I love the clean minimalistic look, trimmed bumper, no hips, no two tone, nice. Thanks again for showing me the light and knocking that old school rhetoric out of my head.

Yeah tires have seriously gone up in price this past year. I paid $1600 for the boggers. Now that was through a local vender in Guam who brought them in, but they used to by less than $300 a tire... Thanks for the encouragement, and slap that body lift on buddy!
