As far as I know the super swamper Trxus is the only 37 inch tire available for a 15 inch rim. Any others?
Right now I am geared a little too low for my 35's and I have enough room for 37's, but purchasing 17 inch rims and 37's made for 17's is a LOT of $$$. I know 37x12.50r15's will feel goofy going around corners on road, and wont be as stable, blah blah blah. My truck isn't supposed to be a super street vehicle. What I really want to know is if you guys think that is too much sidewall exposure for offroad, and, if these tires will have a higher risk of the bead coming off when the tire is aired down. I've run my 35's down to 11 or 12 psi many many times with no problems, but wonder if it'd be a different story with 37's. And no I do not have beadlocks.
Feel free to give all the feedback you'd like. Its much appreciated :cheers:

Does't Toyo still make their MT in 37x12.5x15 and Maxxis Creepy Crawlers

Hi all,

I have a buddy running radial IROKs that are 37s - I thought they were on 15 inch wheels?

You should get great sidewall wall bulge while airing-down radial 37s on 15 inch wheels. I'm worried about sidewall strength on all radial tires used off-road.

Regards,

Alan

I am considering exactly this myself.

The Toyo MT seems to be a decent option, what is the consensus on that tire?
Also, the BFG All Terrain is also available in a 37 on a 15" rim, last I checked.
I am currently running the 35" mtr, and about to do a SOA. I hope the 35 will be big enough for it, without the truck looking goofy.

I'd consider the Creepy Crawler but those are bias ply and I have to drive my 'Cruiser to and from the trail... It's not on DD status, so I am not sure if that is exactly an issue?

those CC tires are like rock .. I mean they are ever more harder than Toyos .. and if memory serve me well those CC are 13.5 or 14.5 wide so 10" wide wheel are in to your future ..
