I want to possibly run 35 inch tires with out a lift, some say it can be done.

I will be using an aftermarket wheel.

If you have done it, post a picture if you want to.

It can be done but you will get rub.

Yes

Minimal rubbing on upper edge of rear flap

Your offset will also affect how much you rub.

Put some 275's on it and enjoy!

Thanks guys! I can't afford a lift for a few years, trying to buy a house by the end of the year into next year. The tires I have on now, do ok for wheelin, but they do not have a 3 ply side wall. I think I will get the 275/33 inch tires for now.

No hitch you can get a 315 75 16 under it. Hitch will push the tire towards the diff. Tire deflated and a ratchet strap you can get it to fit with the hitch.

Both my 315 Duratrac and Grabber red label would not fit under. They both contacted the panhard bar. I can no longer try but I'm confident my Toyo's would not fit under either. Maybe a BFG AT as those run small. My 295 Nitto TG barely fit.

IMO Fitting 315's on stock springs is pretty much a waste of time unless a lift is very short to follow. Go 295 and your rubbing will be minimal. Plus a 315 in CO without regear sucks.

Ok let me then say it this way. The Firestone discovery 315 75 16 will fit with no hitch. With hitch I have a ratchet strap wrapped around it with it deflated to give me that inch I needed. ;)

Here's mine when it had the 315s and blown shocks w/ stock springs. It was that weekend before I could put the OME suspension on.

My biggest issue was not the clearance(its lifted anyway) but the effect on performance. I was running 315's, went back to 275's and it was like putting a super charger on my truck. Only way I would go back would be to regear.

I know it is not an answer to your original questions, but is definitely something to consider.

if you really want 315 go for it with caster correction bushings and set of coil spacers .. ( cheaper than coils plus you can sell those down the road if you decide not to keep 'em )

The power lose is the biggest issue for me, since my last truck was a tuned up 12 valve Cummins. I do plan on maybe next year putting a 12 valve Cummins in this Cruiser. Anybody want a great engine, tranny, t-case with only 166k miles on it all?
