Hi Folks, has anyone tried this yet? (with or without a lift) I searched the forums and the tire database, but can't seem to find this particular combo. I ordered one Toyo AT2 and am having it mounted on a rw rim. I will play around to see what rubs.
Thanks
Drew

Wow, those look huger than I thought.

Is that bolted to the truck? Or just leaned against the stocker?

I'd like to run some 305's on mine.

Leaned up against the stock rim and tire. Forgot the dang RW lug nuts. Gonna have to wait a few days to report.

I'm very interested in what you find out.

I've got an OME lift front & rear. I'm rolling 285-70's on the RW rims now. I'd like to go to 295's or 305's.

I haven't put my lift on yet, but I find it curious from the database that the 285/70r17s seems to fit the same whether a lift is installed or not. I do plan on having a lift installed in the very near future.

Looks like you need a lift, trim and maybe wheel spacer and some more trim. Are you planning on re-gearing diffs?

Not sure yet. I am putting together a wish list for SLEE. If this hits too many things or is as bad as running 35's, then ill just go down to 285/70r17s and be quiet. ;)

285/70/17s on Rock Warriors easily fit both pre and post lift. Here are those tires on my 2008 both pre and post lift:

Anyone have a picture of a 200 on 305/65/18? If not, I guess I'll be the first to see if it works.

Do you have the front spacers? Looks like your rig is level.

No, but I am seriously considering adding them...because after dialing back the pre-load on my fronts for proper ride (after this photo was taken), it definitely has a forward lean. I'd like to correct that with spacers if I can figure out how to order the dang things. ;)

Markuson, what preload are you running? Do you have a photo that shows it dialed back? Also curious about your current compression/rebound settings.

Putting my BP-51s on next week. Got 2722s for the rear due to my drawers, roof rack and RTT. Don't want a huge stink bug after the install.

Sorry for the hijack.

Same here, just ordered my BP-51's and I am interested in the proper setup for a stock truck.

5mm of threads on the coil-overs. That's 5mm showing ABOVE the adjustment ring.
Now that I have added heavy sliders, ARB skids and a second battery, I'd be happy with a bit more--perhaps around 8mm. It's amazing how much a few mm makes in the ride quality. Initially, my install shop ignored the fact that they come from the factory assuming you have a full bull-bar and winch, and are set to 20mm. That gets you a REALLY harsh ride at stock weight! I think 5mm was perfect for stock.

My rear coils are 2721, but when my drawers go in (along with the significant tools and weight I tend to keep in them 24/7), I'll be looking for a heavier spring. If I also added rear bumper & swing out, I'd want 2723, but I might go ahead and swap in a 2722 in the meantime.

Call Christo at Slee. He ordered mine and is installing them on July 11 as my front end is about 1" lower than the rear. I imagine it will help with approach angle a bit more as well.

Have you heard the tale of Icarus, who flew too close to the sun?

:D

Seriously, please continue testing every iteration of large profile tire. Thanks!
