FYI slee doesn't recommend the Toyota spacer on the BP-51. Was planning on it and took their advice and sold the spacers to another member.

Did he say why not?

Basically the shock is already adjustable to get the leveling/lift you need and they didn't want to compromise the system that arb developed by adding additional components to it.

That's kind of surprising, seeing as Angelo1 is having Christo put spacers on his (or I think he already has by now?).

The adjustments for height via the coil-over's adjustment changes more than just height. It changes the preload, and the ride changes as a result. The thing about the spacers is that it doesn't change preload at all. It just moves the entire assembly downward, so the pre-load stays the same. That's why I'm hoping to add spacers. Added height, without added preload.

I'm curious to hear from Angelo about it...

So I ended up not doing the spacer after having Slee order them for me and he was ready to install them. I changed my mind a couple days before install as my plans changed for the SUV. We are going install the BP-51 in the Spring while adding a Bullbar and winch, etc.

If I were to stay with the current OME setup, I would without a doubt add the spacers.
Reason #1 It will give the front end the needed clearance for my bigger tires.
Reason #2 When i add the bullbar and Winch, it won't look so raked unless I add super stiff springs and I don't because I have before it was really uncomfortable-and on my last 200 with just the front bar it looked a bit low in the front. I prefer a level looking SUV.

All I can say is he didn't recommend it. Also they recommended 2721 for you and 2722 for me. I have no issues with the 22's on my setup... I guess every setup is personal preference.

OK. This has taken me forever to mount, but did today and saw lots of rubbing. I'll post some pictures.

With that large a tire on your rig, you'll never be able to realize anywhere close to full articulation - way too much rubbing.

That's why Toyota recommend LT285/70-17's on those RW wheels:

Was planning on a lift with new ucas. But I am not sure how much that would help. I wanted to see how bad the rubbing was and where before deciding on what mods to do. May be it is just best to goto with the recommended 32.7s. Thanks!

I just noticed I did not highlight BOTH parts of that TRD Wheel data sheet that are pertinent:

I ended up selling my spacers under Christos recommendation as I will be adding a BP-51 in the Spring unless I sell my Cruiser for a 2016-17 model. If I kept the current suspension I would add the spacers

Ya, my 200 is at Slee as I type this and they talked me out of spacers with BP-51... So...I have a set available if anyone is interested.

Please Ask Christo if we can out the new bullbar for the MY16 on a MY14. I can't imagine why we couldn't

Even 285/70/17 rubs at full lock (on more than just the front mud flap) so 295/70/17 or larger is too big without cutting/modifying the front fender liners - or other modifications.

I am running mine at 32PSI, factory at 20" is 33psi.

Who is reporting rubbing with 285/70/17 KO2's?

I had zero rub with them...even pre-lift.

And...have never heard of anyone rubbing with that tire/wheel combo.

?

The LX 570 front wheel well may be a little narrower then.
