LC is gone and the LX600 is all that is coming to the USA. Thumbs down on the no tailgate and grill.

Also, the tundra is sharing the 300 series underneath.

Thoughts and insights from the Olde North State crew?

I saw an article that the Sequoia is going to be sharing that same platform as well... Maybe it'll get the doodads the cruiser would've gotten, just be a bit longer.

That grill....

No KDSS? that's surprising......

The F Sport grill is a bit less in your face...I really like the styling and for one don't care so much about the lack of a tailgate, easier for the dog to load up.

Isn't Toyota having trouble with that twin turbo wastegate? Thought I read that somewhere about the trucks...

personally I haven't liked the Lexus grill since the changes started in 2014.

That is interesting. The biggest question will be the wheelbase on the sequoia.

Best of both worlds

Sequoia - 300 series with 112 inch wheelbase
Sequoia XL - Long wheelbase 300 series

That would be sweet for sure but may be overly hopeful! My guess is it’s only offered in a single wheelbase which matches the longest one currently offered for the 2022 Tundra.

Also will be curious to see if a total redo of the 4Runner is revealed in the next few months.

That makes more sense. Did y'all see the news, the 300 is sold out for 4 years?

Also, the new 4runner and taco are to finally share the same platform with the hilux. That is going to be sweet for sure.

World premiere for the sequoia is 9:30 pm est tonight.

LX, sequoia, and tundra are fugly, overcomplicted, and guanteed to be less reliable.....so much losing!

Its like they tried to make everything worse, on purpose.
Agreed and well said. It’s amazing what buyers think is cool / needed now.

Ineos/bronco/wrangler/hilux shared 4runner/taco only real new choices.

And personally will stick with older land cruisers.

First world problem: The airbags deployed in my 8 year old, $60k vehicle so insurance totaled it. But at least the kids had captains chairs in the back, so it was worth it.

Third World problem: Our hut is made of thatch, and gasoline and bullets are only available to the warlords.
