This is number 4770 of 5000 40th Anniversary units Toyota made in celebration of the Land Cruiser legacy. This rig is ultra-unique due to the 2003 Tundra 2UZ V8 that has been installed in place of the factory 6 cylinder. It gets BETTER mpg and puts out MORE power than stock form. This same engine swap is performed by Slee Offroad in Colorado for $20,000, you provide the truck. Since the Cruiser is all Toyota it can still be serviced by a dealer if needed. The truck has 35,000 miles since the swap, and has been on several long distance trips with my family aboard. It is spirited to drive, taught in corners and stops straight with no pulling. Since the swap it received a full axle rebuild/headlight upgrade/ OME springs and shocks/Alpine w/ Bluetooth/33" BFG All Terrains (75% tread remains). Just 200 miles ago the truck got new calipers, pads and rotors on all four corners. From the factory it was equipped with power everything including sunroof and triple electronic axle locks. It has been my daily driver for the past four 1/2 years. No lights on the dash, cruise works. I do not wheel this, I have a built 80 for that. I am selling due to my mother giving me a smoking deal on her 2010 Four Runner. I would not hesitate to drive this Land Cruiser anywhere. Here is my local ad:

Any rust? Original OH 80? Who did the swap? Need an FJ40?

pm'd you...any more photos, interior, engine bay, etc

I predict you will regret selling this vehicle, especially considering your asking price.

+1 for interior shots, under body/frame shots and lets see under the hood. Rig sounds like a great deal!

I might come look at this on Thursday.
What transmission is in it? How many miles?
What t-case?
How many miles are on the engine?
Do you have a fan shroud from either the Tundra or 80?
Does the AC & heater work?
Is the OBD2 port functional?
Any MIL or codes?

It has the fzj80 trans and transfer. Engine has about 50,000 on it. I do not have the fan shrouds. AC and heat work fine. Rear heater is disconnected from coolant system, but fan still functions. Port works. No codes. Where are you located?
