I do use my 2nd start button most of the time when I'm in low range. Crawling up or down hill would be the exception. Starting in 2nd (low range) is critical for deep snow and deep mud.

yeah.. I can't speak for the snow stuff, in fact, I'm not sure snow really exists..

I almost never use 1st in sand except pulling out f250s or hummers out...

In fact, if I had a 3rd gear start I might use it while starting in loose sand, at least I'd like to try it. I have used it frequently on standard shift 4x4's in lo range..


So..... back to the subject..

can someone confirm that 93-94 did not have second gear start?

why do some years have 2nd gear start and some do not i got a triple locked 94 w.o. 2nd start why would the factory do this?
