2lte Fuel issues

Hey guys,
I have a 73(i think) prado with the 2L

At low RPM the truck the engine cuts out, as if it is not getting any fuel
And it will not start up again.
Most of the time it has been starting, but when this problem comes it happens frequently.

but it only happens when it is at an idle, or i am not pressing the gas.
Then it will not start again. and by chance it starts.

Buy and install a new fuel filter and check the lift pump filter.

btw it is the 2l-te

The fuel filter looks really clean, and the truck runs at high RPM no problem.
i really think it might be the fuel cut off solenoid,
bcause when i pull the line off the pump fuel is getting to it, but the truck will not start
but some times it does

that would also do it you can check that by pulling the vaccum line off the pump wihch simulates you cutting the ignition from the VSV. I will try and remember to get a pic for you. It wshould stop straight away.

Then it will not start till you put it back in.
