2h turbo exhaust options

So ive recently purchased a hj60. The 2h has a dts kit bolted to it with a 2.5" exhaust with dual muffler about 4" apart. It has an awesome air surge when changing gears but id like more of that turbo diesel whistle. How do i get this and will i lose the air surge?

Yeah take your mufflers off if you like the whistle. The air surge when you change gears is actually surge and not something you should enjoy too much. It's bad for your compressor.

Absolutely no mufflers on a turbo diesel. I just ran 2.5 straight pipe on my 12HT and really like it a lot!

Take your air cleaner off and you'll hear it.

Has some downsides though.

I have 2.5 inch and no muffler on my BJ60-T. It whistles like crazy.

3" from the turbo flange to the stock exit on the 80 series and I had the same on the 60. If you like whistle, that's what you want.
