Looked for something on this but apparently am odd tire size in the community...

What are others running with this tire combo? Looking to see what psi you all would recommend for the following as well:
- +500lb load (fridge, drawers, RTT, cargo)
- rough terrain overland with cargo
- stupid question: any compensation for altitude? (Ouray in August)

Thanks!

Here are a few... Tires came on it from the prev owner (4peanut)

I'm running the about the same combination and generally go with...

-34 all around
-Drop to 20-25 depending on the conditions
-I don't set out to make altitude-based pressure adjustments, but lowering pressure for conditions and airing back up is usually done at altitude, so...

I ran that exact tire for a while. I chalk tested it for pavement and came up with 40psi on street. I aired down to 18-22 offroad.

Those are perfect starting values for any 8 or 10 ply rated tires. I've gone back down to 35 on the street for comfort as the 2.5" radflo's had stiffened things up quite a bit (was running about 42 PSIG).

I've gone down as low as 12 PSIG offroad.

Start with the pressures paflytyer recommends and salt to taste.

I don't have my 100 anymore :bang: but if you'd look at the sticker on the DS door jamb and tell me:

OEM tire size
Recommended Tire Pressures Front/Rear
GAWR Front/Rear

I'll tell you what "The Book" says you should be running in your tires.

Book schmook...... every truck will be different depending on load/setup.

Take a stick of sidewalk chalk and find a FLAT parking lot with at least 50-100 feet of space. Start your tires off with 36-42 psi and make one chalk line directly across your tire tread. Get tread blocks at the edge too. Drive 50 or 100 feet in a straight line, then back up along that same straight line. Get out and check the chalk lines.

If the line is evenly faded across the tread, you're at the right psi. If its faded in the middle of the tire and not on the outer edges, let a little air out and try again. If it's faded at the edges and not in the middle, add a few psi. You might have to do it a few times to get it right.

Write everything down and memorize your optimum psi and you're good to go.

You'll have no problem running those tires with those psi's.

16 is low, but in sand there are no issues. On the dirt/mud/rocks, I liked 22lbs, but I could have gone down lower.

Nice pics, is that a short Rhina rack on top. I'm asking because I'd like to have access to the sunroof after installing the roof rack And I don't think the long one would allow that.

It's actually just Thule load bars on the factory roof rack. Currently considering my options.... Should have just applied the $300 toward a rack... Doh!
