This is why you wait. Don't buy into the "they are getting harder to find, will be collector car one day" nonsense.

Wasn't there someone here cheerleading the other day for someone selling a white LX with more than double the mileage moaning on and on about how it was worth 25k? Lol

1 owner. 2006. 41k miles. Just a few oil changes. JTJHT00W064018690

when I list my 100 this summer, I’ve got a price point where I’d rather just keep it than sell it. I spent a lot of time finding the ‘right one’, modding it the way I wanted, and keeping it dialed in. I think there are a lot of sellers on Mud who feel the same way. Tire kickers will always be there and we’ll just have to deal with them. True Cruiser Heads know what they’re looking at when looking in the classifieds here.

And theres the rub. In my opinion this is where the disconnect comes in.

Listen dude, between you, me and the fence post, I’m just making an attempt to show the wife that we’ve got an undesirable 14 year old truck. Might as well keep it LOL. If it’s the right combo of truck & buyer, it will sell no problem. When I bought my 200, I paid more than all the non-200 owner experts on Mud would have have approved. But at the end of the day, it was the exact color combo, condition, mileage range and location I was looking for. So it made sense for me to pay a little more. No regrets either way. We’re just talking about trucks after all.

I'm pretty sure that the recently-departed Mud user "ItsTime" was a second account for the similarly combative and equally dickish, former Mud user "globe cruiser."

Just a hunch. But neither will be missed, IMO.

I've seen that name of globe cruiser before but I cant remember what happened. Was that the guy that was basically advocating breaking the law by title skipping?

Yes. Many of the same themes in the two accounts' posts. Similar pattern of aggressively slinging insults.

Many of us know a lot about a few things, but there are truly few who know everything about everything. That guy was one of the latter. lol

This thread has been very entertaining for me as well as others it appears. I planned to sell my 100 in December when I was back in Colorado where it lives. I forgot how much really like the 100 and don’t know if I want to use my 200 to replace the 100. I’m really enjoying driving and ‘tinkering’ with the 200 while I have it in FL. I live in Colorado and on the look out for an 06/07. Prefer the Land Cruiser but those are hard to find.

Here's a 90k miles 1-owner Texas '07 that was just listed for $23,900, with all of its maintenance done at the listing dealership:

Don't think they've removed it from their site yet, but for what it's worth - this LX that I linked on Tuesday sold yesterday for asking price.

That's a $12,000 truck max. Someone overpaid. I sure miss ItsTime.

I have purchased from this dealership before and they are a good one. No complaints from me at all regarding the process or the vehicle that I bought from them. If they have it on their lot then you can be assured that it’s a good one.

I do notice that the one you posted has a “minor accident” on file which will bring the value down a bit.

either way- I’d be willing to bet that it will be sold very soon (if not already) and some will still gripe that it’s OVERPRICED!
it already sold. I went and looked at it. It was on the market for 1 day

There’s so much hate for each other on this forum it’s unreal. Sad part is that most everyone here would probably be friends if the chance to meet in person were possible.

I looked at the LX that sold for 23k at Northside Lexus. I owned a 2004 my wife drove to 220k. Ours was cleaner than this one and had 130k more miles. 23k was a bit high. The interior was a little more worn than you would expect. It was a 19-20k truck at best and that’s if they threw in a timing belt. But good luck to whoever.

Nah that truck was worth 20+ easily, if it was a 19-20K truck it wouldn't have sold so quickly. I paid 19K for my 2007 that had 190K miles, so that truck with 100K less miles was priced right.

The 06-07 commands a much higher premium than the ones prior, people want that extra 40HP along with the updated lights and stuff.

I agree.... Mine is a 2007 and I paid 18.8k with 136k miles and a "little" rust (everyone run and scream)…. Rust is negligible and while I would have really liked a "clean rust-free southern rig", being in Oklahoma, I'm south enough. Problem was the 4 years it did in Illinois. Nothing a wire wheel can't fix.

No regrets on the price I paid for what I got. To echo @FxFormat , that vehicle above listed at 19-20k would have sold very quickly.

Basically same story as me. 135k miles and paid a little bit less than you, but also bought mine a month ago. No regrets whatsoever for the condition it is in. Would have paid an extra $1k easy.
