Wanted 24v wiper motor for bj42 A.S.A.P

Help needed!
my bj42 wiper motor went down and need a new one. Pretty dangerous on the highway when i lost it, Iv remove the cover inside the windshield and i move the linkage with my hand to wipe...

really need this part, aftermarket, anything that will suit!

Rebuild might be your best bet. Replacement 24v motors are tough to come by. Best of luck.

i have already rebuild the brush inside the motor. But it seems that all the wire winding is gone.

Couldn't you find a 12v one and have it rewound for 24v?

If not have you contacted Dave at Japan 4x4? LOT more 24v stuff there than here.

No, the hj60 is a little bigger than the bj42 and would not fit under the wiper motor cover. I got several wiper motor from a bj60 and it should be the same size as the hj60.

I finally found one in france!!! Its become really harder to find spare parts for your old BJ42

There is (or at least was 10 years ago) an automotive electrics rebuilder in St-Henri. He did everything motor, including re winds.
