It does need a different grille and the center stack is a hot mess. Hopefully Lexus will resist the wall-to-wall screens that seem to be the rage now (Mercedes EQS, Lincoln Nautilus, Cadillac Escalade IQ, etc.).
True. I wanted a MB really bad. Can't pass the screens. 🤦🏿‍♀️😂

Because it is. The LX is the flagship BoF product.
It is like comparing an E class to an S class.
Someone more knowledgable than me can probably go into better detail on every single thing that is superior on the LX vs the GX, mechanically and otherwise but that doesn't mean this is a direct knock to one vehicle or me trying to put the GX down, because that is the hierarchy of Lexus.

I still think the new GX for its class is a more competitive product than the LX. The LX has room for improvement still.
Agreed here too. I don't. Have the technical details nor the knowledge, but the LX's have always felt "more" vs the Prados. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with Prados, but it feels a higher class level car. The MB analogy is perfect. C vs E vs S classes, and I am not even a MB fan, but an S Class is magnificent to sit on. Never had one but was picked up by one on a business trip once: class.

Could you please elaborate onto why you like the AHC more than KDSS? If anything, I would really miss the KDSS if I go LC250 route. The "issues" with the engine, the "cramped" space at the second row in particular, and the big grill vs the LC200/570 are really the reason why I haven't gone for one (and the cost too, but if I am going to treat myself one more time, I wouldn't mind it). The more I think, the GX550 would be !

I usually prefer keeping my vehicles stock.
With the AHC on the LX 600 you can keep it on H1 until around 100km/h and H2 until around 30 km/h.

I also love how AHC auto levels. Always love seeing that work on my 570.

So for someone who rarely wants to mess with suspension that seems like a dream.

All the LX needs is a facelift to tone down that front and and tidy up that interior little.
Overtrail LX is also a strong possibility because they also released an overtrail NX.

Lets imagine a triple locked overtrail LX 600.
That would be my dream rig honestly but only if they fix that interior. It may be functional I just hate how it looks. It is slightly better in real life but I don't like it.
Stop, I can only get so excited. 😆

Mine drops from H2 at 40 mph and H1 at 65 mph.

If you don’t need a beefed up suspension for extra weight, then AHC is the way to go. With the sensor lift mod, H2 gives you 4” over a standard non AHC 300.

Just heard from one of our local Toyota dealerships.
2024 First Editions are set to be built this week (first week of March 2024) and put on a cargo ship sometime next week. Port arrival in April, port processing in April and May and dealer delivery in middle to end of May.
Two things I am curious about:
1. How much over MSRP will dealers sell them for?
2. How long will it take Toyota to sell all 5,000?
I just got a call from my local dealer where I have my LC250 deposit, and they asked me which one I wanted. I told them I wanted a first edition and to my surprise, they told me I was the first one on the list to request a first edition. I am not sure when delivery will be, but I was pretty excited. My dealer also prides themselves in never marking up above MSRP, so we will see if that holds true when the cruiser arrives.....

Woot, woot, I see these Car-go ships all the time. now I am really excited. I not sure I can get pictures/movies of unloading. Work during the day.

I’ve turned down three First Editions now as I’m waiting for a LandCruiser Premium. Was told yesterday that after the First Edition the 1958 trim will be next off the line.

I was wondering the same thing. To be honest, if my out the door price ends up being mid to high 80s when I go to take delivery of the First Edition, I may pass and opt for a 1958. I think it is ridiculous that First Editions will basically be what 200s were going for new. At that rate, I may as well go buy another pre owned Heritage Edition 200 haha.

Just heard from my dealer that they're still waiting to hear about their allocations. Some dealers are getting word on 1st Editions, as evidenced in this thread, but a lot of production has been delayed due to supply problems. Toyota is apparently very tight-lipped about the whole thing.

Mine is $77,285.00 with illuminated door sills ($360), Dashcam ($375) & Cargo Mat ($130).
For First Edition, this is what you will find at dealers that aren't doing market adjustments.
I'm happy with the price. When you build out the mid level it's almost as much and I hate the square headlights.

Thank you! This is wonderful information. I am still going to wait until I put eyes on it and drive it before making a final decision. My 200 isn't going anywhere, so I may completely hate it......

Saw a video recently where a Toyota rep (non-U.S.) said the square light assembly and round light assembly will be swappable. Not sure how pricey a new set of lights would be, however, and if this applies to U.S. models. I would assume it does, but only a guess.

I had read the same thing.

I guess it depends how you build it. LandCruiser trim is $10K less even with the premium package unless you are adding the rack, rock rails, etc…. Then I guess it could get close. I prefer to go aftermarket in those departments. Plus I prefer the square headlights and the Java interior color. What’s nice is options for a change.

Man, I wish I had first world problems like, Corbet. 😂😂 :flipoff2:

Love you long time. 👊👊
