I called in this morning and was able to get a permit for Casner for the first half of the permit process.

At this moment, we have the week of June 17 - 23. Certainly not ideal as the weather will most likely be hot, but beggars cannot be choosers, right?

The call-in process for permits after July 22nd will be on June 6th. Hopefully we can get a better week.

Nice work! The weather will be great for camping. Always nice when the trail climbs to cooler weather. I'm in for sure if we do it on the Saturday with a Friday to Sunday camp. Otherwise I'll have to confirm a bit closer to the the actual dates.

[Living in the Past]

Some health issues in the family and forgot about the March 7th date. Hopefully D day will stick better in my old brain.

Just hope it's only fire restrictions have to deal with. If there is month that the forest would be completely closed June is it. The rim hasn't seen that much snow this winter.
