Just getting things unwrapped and organized, and reading instructions over. Planning to hit this tomorrow morning and need to get it done in one day, this shop will be bustling with people on Tuesday. I've installed ARB bumpers on my 80 and 100, this will be a little more tedious it looks like.

The pallet didn't survive, but the bumper looks great.

The cardboard is nice and thick for padding the concrete floor while sliding around under the truck, thanks ARB! Watch out for staples.

First question is on the camera relocate bracket. Should I be finding holes in the bumper for this? I'd hate to drill and rust-proof new holes, then find out I'm putting it in the wrong place. The bracket looks unpainted, not good for Michigan, I'll zinc prime it tonight and paint in the morning, hopefully dry enough to install tomorrow.

Can you do me a favor and take more pictures of the clevis nut? I bought a used bumper that didn't come with them and need to fabricate them.

Did you have to drill holes?
You’re meant to use the other bracket in the relocation kit, it mounts slightly off center next to the access hatch in the grill. There are captive nuts there to install it. That one in the pic is meant for bumpers with no winch mount according to the instructions. So no captive nuts for that one. I tried to figure out how to install anyway as it seems like it ought to be centered, but looked like the control box for the winch is in the way of the camera plug.

I won't have a winch, so installing centered per instructions. But no holes there or next to the access hatch on my bumper. Captive nuts in the bracket are nice, but no matching holes seems odd. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something and putting it in the wrong place.

I'll look again for a different bracket for the center location.

What is a clevis nut? The big steel blocks with threaded holes? Lots of terminology I've never heard before in these instructions.

I'll be poking along tomorrow, lots of pics, and putting Loctite on every threaded fastener. Low strength where appropriate, I've found it prevents corrosion.

Some rough numbers to get you started, I can do it again in American if you need:

The tapped hole is M12x1.75 through. Hopefully I'm not giving away any ARB trade secrets, maybe I'll sell a few bumpers by supplementing their instructions.

There are two brackets in the camera relocate kit. One puts the camera on the right side of the winch, ARB calls that "driver side". There are drilled holes for that bracket on both sides, but the bracket is only for the right side. The other bracket (now primed and painted flat black) is for non-winch application, and I prefer that camera in the center.

There don't appear to be holes for the center mount bracket that is used without the winch. Of the three ARB bumpers I've installed, they have not failed to provide holes where holes are needed, so I'm nervous I might be installing in the wrong place. But have to continue. I can't drill until I have the camera out and do some positioning and measuring. Will have to drill from the bottom, so I can't just mark where the bracket holes are on top and drill. This kinda sucks.

Noon, and a long way to go, starting to feel panic. If I screw this up, can I sell it to the taliban?

That is how I did mine as I have the winch.

Bumper cover off. Had to first yank the wheel well liner free from the bumper cover, then yank the bumper cover rear edges outward from the frame. The edges of the cover seem to just pinch into the holders. The last pic is the trailing edge of the bumper cover that was pinched into the black holder on the previous picture. And Aspen.

Time to cut the bumper. I traced the supplied template, how bad can it look?
