Not only do the Toyota dealerships have poor workmanship, their respect of the customers time is mind boggling. "We're pretty backed up right now (always the case), but we'll get to it as soon as we can....have a seat in the dreadful waiting room and we'll let you know when its finished" Minimum 2 hours....I'm out!

That was one of the reason I moved to the LX. Come get it, leave me a car and bring it back detailed. Oh, and take good care of it too.

You get same shotty workmanship at Lexus but with a loaner and free coffee so that you don’t stress while watching them work on your car while waiting.

New to this site and wanted to pulse the group regarding a most disturbing event. Brought my 2021 LC in for the 5000 service and after receiving the vehicle back I noticed markings and actual chips in the rims in and around the lug nut portals. All four rims were impacted some more so then others, Brought the vehicle back to the dealer and they said " we will take care of it" and made an appt for me to bring it back and they would have their rim specialist repair the damage.
My issue is this is a brand vehicle and they are repairing. Looking for thoughts on if i should request replacement - any comments / direction most appreciated.

Curious which dealership this was in NH. You can let me know via PM if you don't want to post it here.

Are we all going to have to drive to Ed Martin to get proper service?? ;)

I was not paying close attention I guess, I am blaming my phone. I thought the black marks were the damaged areas. Those little scratches can be easily fixed by a wheel repair shop.

Pain in the butt to bring the truck back and lose it for a day, free loaner or not.

I thought the black was damage too!

I swear I'm going to see him for some electrical mods. Talking to some of the so-called radio & sound shops around here a while back about my wanting to do a Redarc BCDC installation was absolutely frightening.

I took a bit of effort but i just picked up my LC with 4 new rims. First round they replaced one (1) and had their "rim specialist" repair the other three (3). The repair looked worse than the original damage. At that point i requested the other three be replaced with new and the owner approved.
Had to stick to my guns but at the end of the day they replaced all four with new. Now I transition to my local mechanic for service going forward.
thanks for the direction and push for replacement.
