🥶🤪🤣

In all fairness it was 52* ambient temp outside when I took the reading.

Had an air bag light drama. Using a HDJ100 EWD we were not getting anywhere. Fired up a digital HZJ79/HDJ79/GR79 EWD and fixed the problem in a few hours. RHD harnesses converted to LHD, one yellow wire pinned wrong, there was two yellows so confusing. Pinned correctly and air bag light problem solved!

Got a tach flutter at idle, otherwise tach works great and seems to be accurate. Trouble shooting that and our Dakota Digital tach converter.

Got backup camera pretty well dialed and finished, little more to do.

End of build check list kind of things. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤗

Just had the 79 out this afternoon for a few hours of testing in the dirt. It passed with flying colors. Here comes a bunch of pics!

Now your just playing with it!

Last one...

So one of the main things we wanted to test today was front drive shaft noise and or vibes in 4wd at a variety of speeds. We had the Cruiser up to 60mph on dirt/gravel in 4wd and neither of us can detect a vibe or growl. So good to go on that!

It has tons of power, if you want to in 2wd or even 4wd you can easily break the tires loose above 20psi, that’s when it really goes and you get all giggles. 😂🤙

Handles excellent in both 2wd and 4wd, fairly decent gravel roads with say some 1ft whoops here and there, 35-45mph no probs and it feels stable and controlled. I hit some railroad tracks at about 55mph and it was super smooth. We only aired down to 20psi as well and front shocks are on the stiff side. Ass end is light as expected too but it is the best handling Toyota pickup I have ever been in. Was not able to bottom it out today, didn’t really try but you would have to try to get on the bump stops. Those by the way were all set up so as not to bottom out the Kings.

It is GOBS of fun to drive!! 🤙

Cheers
