Today-
Changed oil in the 200.
Put a layer of fiberglass in the 40's roof. Fun project.

Replaced a perfectly good CDL indicator switch. Center diff still doesn't lock. Guess I need to take off the actuator and open it up. Any tips/tricks?

Here's a tip, let me know how it goes, mine is smoked also.

Check the indicator switch on TCase. I seem to remember several threads mentioning the ball locking up inside and possibly an alternative part source as it is a Bosch switch.

Quick search for part # also turned up thread that relay would still click but not provide appropriate output. Try swapping in another relay.

Past few days been wheeling 2's & 3's during the day with FJ Cruisers and 4runners then 5's at night with buggies. Having a blast in Hot Springs!

Been running hot though and clamps on new Vacumm line for new brake booster weren't handling the temp changes. Either booster or intake clogged with dust and no brakes again. If someone can bring another booster along to the Rendevous it might help but I am fine riding shotgun too as I had plenty of fun in the dust here.

I already replaced the indicator switch, since it was only $17 and 5 minutes labor. Rely is putting out 12V to the plug.
I pulled off the actuator and tore it apart, since it wouldn't run with power applied directly. All four magnets were unglued. Carefully glued them back in place and reassembled. Still no worky.

Bummer! @2fpower might have a Tcase down the hill that could be cannibalized. I have the Speedo gear from it that was returned from testing issue for Patrick. I'm hoping to maybe use it for Crawl gear upgrade and return mine for core.

i have a 2005 land cruiser case that might have the same style actuator. i already stole the speed sensor from it and it worked great for me. i want to say it's the same actuator and connections as the 80

Helped @BigRedOne75 install a SC on his cruiser so he can keep up with the 4bt next time in CO.... while there where several tough spots to work through the wiring harness was the biggest pain in the ass. Next was the awful fit of the air cleaner to TB. That is really really bad I feal like a custom tube is needed. We cut the bead roll off the supercharger plenum to intake also it needs a one piece silicone joint or a tight radius tube.

Got a brake booster coming in Wed down here so I'm covered on that. See some of you at the Rendezvous.

@Robkc new booster go out? Did you replace the vacuum hose?

Yes and Yes but not the clamps. Clamps were not holding tight and I dumped dust out of new vacuum line when putting new clamps on. Got a booster coming in down here and will try to clean vacuum ports as much as possible. As stated above I got a good enough wheeling fix at Hot Springs that I can just enjoy the area, the company at Rendezvous and maybe a passenger seat with Dave DeWalt or whoever has room if I don't figure it out down here.

I broke down and ordered a new actuator. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this will solve everything.

Added some new trail caresses with some awesome stories for the campfore playing on the forest service roads between The Rendezvous campground and Byrds adventure center. Awesome night wheeling with Chris Kuhlmann!
