Finished up the cooling system on the 40. Figured it was safe to see if it would fire up and stay running. It did both.

While I was under the car, saw that the skid plate took some damage. This picture shows the amount it bent.

Decided to try to make my own heat shield, I was looking around for aluminum to use and I found an old turkey fryer pot. So started cutting it up...

Found a trick online use a zip tie to mark a perfect circle around a pipe

Replaced front and rear door speakers with the pioneer replacements to keep the stock speaker grilles. I had to remove the “Y” on the rear grilles and the speakers fit with a few mm of clearance. I’m far from an audiophile but the new head unit and new speakers sound great compared to the old busted speakers. I have plenty of the neoprene for the gaskets if anyone local needs some.

Which Pioneer replacements? Model #? Specifically for fronts...thanks
