I didn't know you could use the knob to change views! Must play with this feature when I return home...

Well, I tried everything, and no knob changes the camera display. Going into 4-Low does bring up all kinds of visibility options, but no knob that I could find has any effect. What am I missing here?

I think he was confused. The only two knobs it could be is either the Multi-Terrain select or the tune knob.
But I think he was confused.

The only way to change views as far as I know is the View button on the dash behind the right side of the steering wheel.
(Assuming left hand drive)

I think the "small knob near the gearshift" that this guy refers to is the 4H-4L knob!!! He probably had no idea that he was putting it in 4L to get the Multi-Terrain view on the screen! He thought it was just a different view, or "awareness" level!

At least that's how it seems to me when I read his description ... wow

When i put 4-L all camera show up including the compass to show the tilt of the venhicle.
