Coal Mine Cruiser Classic - Gotham City Land Cruisers

Hope to see you there!

I'll be there. I didn't make the first event but haven't missed any since. This is a great opportunity for all our club members to see and experience a classy event, lotsa fun, lotsa cvruisers and a never ending abundance of cruiser talk! not to mention the camaraderie and all that good stuff. Trail rides for any level trucks and drievrs and seats are always available for those not wishing to wheel their own vehicles. Sign up and support the Gotham City guys!

Hmmm...only a couple weeks before I go to HIH. Do I chance breaking something before I take it on a 4,000 mile round trip?

Better to break at Rausch than Black Bear!

Plenty of time to fix if something goes wrong. There are lots of various run groups at CMCC, so you can stay on the easier trails if you like.

The chancers of breaking something on the trails in the Ouray/Telluride area are slim. I've been over all the passes many times and we never broke anything. Had some minor problems- radiator leak, some bolts missing from an Aisin hub, stuff like that. the trails are not hard on a vehicle but cna be scary if you don't like shelf roads. Hell driving on route 550 bertween ouray/Silverton/Durango can cause much anxiety in folks.

Everyone doing the whole event? Is there a 'best day' to be there?

I read in another thread there may be some kind of tent camping problem. Whats going on with this.

I'll be there all four days. It's a great event. if only able to make one day Saturday might be the choice so as to be there for the meal and raffle. if only coming for wheeling and/or camaraderie Friday might be the best. The number of vehicles and people in attendance increase from Wednesday through saturday. I'm registered too of course. Not knowing anbything about tent camping but I can see that last eyar there were new cabins where we had camped in previous years- maybe there are mnore cabins in that area now than were there last year- i don;t know just guessing.

If I bring the beers will you bring the ribeyes?!

I will be registering in a couple of weeks, have to get a few things squared away, its been a very long time since I have been to a major event, hopefully this time around I will make it there and not break 15 min into the trails -_- right @jamarquardt22
It was more like 30 min. I did 15 remember yellow jacket? Both were catastrophic.

Must have had to many beers this weekend, Not You! Me! The last big even you and I did together was OHTTora Takeover in Wellsville. A wonderful u-haul trip home with a 4Runner in tow....

Great event! Just found this pic. Note the awesome t-shirt. Also note photo is not taken at event site :)
