The time is almost upon us again. As with last year the Meet and Greet will be held in March. The dates are March 14, 15, 16.
Dinner Saturday night will be provided for by the club with sides left up to a members potluck like we always do.
Since the trails are closed there will be no wheeling but we, as always, will have a great time.
Our gracious hosts, once again, will be the Monks/Whitleys at their barn.
We will need a head count to make sure enough BBQ is made.
PLEASE EMAIL ME SO I CAN ADD TO ATTENDEE LIST ALASTAIRVANN@HOTMAIL.COM
Anyone is welcome to come anytime friday afternoon through sunday afternoon.
Directions:
The barn is about 1 mile north of the BP station on the corner of River rd and Hwy 24//27
There are basically 2 ways to get there using either hwy 24/27 or hwy 49
If you are coming from the Raleigh area you would want to do hwy 64 to hwy 49. When you reach Denton go south on hwy 109 past the outpost and on to River road. The barn will be about 8 miles down on the left. There will be flags out and a sign that says ONSC.
If you are coming from the Charlotte area you can go either 24/27 or hwy 49.
If 49. Go east on hwy 49 and go south on 109 when you reach Denton. Go past uwharrie and the outpost to river road and continue south. Barn is about 8 miles on the left and there will be flags and a ONSC sign up.
If 24/27 go east till you pass over lake tillery and turn left at the BP station on river road. The barn is about 1 mile up on the right. There will be flags and an ONSC sign up at the enterance.
There is no actual address so you can't map it with your GPS although i'm sure someone knows the actual GPS coordinates they will post up.
If none of these directions work for you google map from your location to the BP station on the corner of river rd and hwy 24/27
Check back to this first post for updates to come
