Well I think its official I am the worst parent of the year. I think Boston's arm is actually broken. Currently at WakeMed ER right now with the little guy.

Just want to say it was a pleasure meeting everyone and thank you to everyone for making us feel welcome. And special thanks to Kenny and Lydia for your generous hospitality.

Can't wait to see everyone on the trails.

BTW thumbs up to whoever put that cowboy hitch on my LX. That was funny as hell.

Cowboy butts have been know to drive a guy nuts.

Now it is your torch to pass along to the next unsuspecting member. Kind of a running onsc gag. It was great to meet you both; Hope Boston is doing well and glad you got a chuckle during a bummer day at the doctors. For what it's worth. I didn't do it :D

Giant thank you to the Monks for the generous hosting of the onsc crew. The company is always a pleasure and effort you guys put forth very much appreciated.

Thanks to all that helped on the trail and back at camp to make another successful meet and great and productive work day in the forest. It's always nice to see the familiar faces and it was really nice to see some new members making it out to share in the fun.

Brodi is already looking forward to next time

We had a blast like always! Thanks again to Kenny and Lydia for hosting the event at the Barn. Next time, we will show up with the early arrivals and camp out Friday and Saturday night.

Evan and I had a great time as well....even though we didn't hang out at the barn all weekend it worked out great for us, twas great to see the new faces and pig out all weekend.....lets do it again next weekend...

Great times. Good to talk to all the old faces, meet some new, and indulge in some great food.

- Monks rock, as usual... HUGE THANKS!
- Brian and fam, thanks for all ya'll dig on getting the hog there. For those of you who don't know, Brian rolled out well before the roosters were crowing to make sure the swine was going to get done.
- Al on organizing
- Martin on the awesome carnage tropy. I'm flattered and will be adding my contribution the the heaviest trophy east of the Rockies.
- Everyone else for reminding us just how awesome this club is. Where else can two "grown" men rock camo wife beaters all night and not really raise an eyebrow?

 R

I would like to give a huge thanks to the Monks for letting us use such an awesome barn and being such great hosts once again! The Keefers for doing such a good job with the pig and other assortments. Al for organizing such a great event, and to whomever made the apple pie... thanks for my little incident... we need to start putting bright orange duct tape on the things the younger ones aren't allow to touch hahaha and a huge thanks to everyone in the club for getting maintenance done and keeping Uwharrie up and running! The family, Chris and I all had a blast! what a great way to start the year off

I was so bummed that I couldn't stay the night, however I did make some money this morning pulling the t-case while laying down in mud in the rain, it sucked. Going to the monthly meets in the Triangle and Charlotte area are awesome and everything but my friends and I really had a great time at the Barn. I glad we were able to stop by to see new and familiar faces and definitely some sweet rigs!

1) Thanks again to Kenny and Lydia for having us, it was great meeting yall.
2) Congrats to the new officers!
3) As mentioned before, the food was amazing. I forget who made what but do you guys know how to tease my college student appetite.

I love you guys, old and new.
Thanks for the great bonvoyage party. Couldn't have been more perfect.
And thanks Logan for lighting the fuse. I know you were digging what this has turned into.
See yuz in the autumn, if you get to the Med before that come see us.

Well it's official little guy has three fractures on his elbow, but it's not phasing him, he asked me if we can go camping again this weekend.

Heather and I had a great time Sat night. Many thanks to our host's the Monks for extending their hospitality again. I can not see coming up with a better venue or better more accommodating hosts. Thanks to the Pig Patrol, you guys put on a hell of a BBQ. The food was over the top.

We talk about the 2.5 plus hour drive but in reality it is not too bad considering where we end up. The drive home was interesting. Started with the rear window not going up on the 4RNR. That circuit runs through the rear wiper and two other emergency lock outs that prevent it from moving and there is a loose wire somewhere. After we got that up the PS pump belt tensioner froze up and the belt started burning, this about 2 hours from home. Fixed that. We then came up on a 5 car accident on 85 south, got home at 2AM. 3 horses at the gate being very vocal about their dinner being late :)

Well it's official little guy has three fractures on his elbow, but it's not phasing him, he asked me if we can go camping again this weekend.

Good that he is OK. Keeping the sling on will be the fun part!!

@ Stan.....and to think you could have done all that in the daylight if you stayed overnight ....

as usual the best time ever was had by all at the barn......

Well it's official little guy has three fractures on his elbow, but it's not phasing him, he asked me if we can go camping again this weekend.

Damn! He was having a blast out there too. He's a tough kid

To echo everyone else's sentiments, I had a blast. Thank you to Kenny and Lydia for everything you do. Thank you to everyone who helped plan and contribute to the event. Finally, thank you to everyone who came to the event. Y'all are my family and I love every one of you.

Until next time :D

Lydia and I had a great time this weekend with our ONSC family!

We sat down last night and counted who all came through the gate and we came up with 58 men, women and children. You all remember that Lydia kept saying she knows everyone's name; well she did. Thanks to everyone for all the delicious food that was brought for dinner and breakfast. I believe I gained 10 pounds over the weekend.

You guys don't know how much we appreciate how helpful everyone was this past weekend. It seems like everyone now knows the "Monk" way of how we like to do things at the barn; from set-up to clean-up. That is another reason we like this group. Everyone pitches in and does what needs to be done for the benefit of all. We really do have a great group of people!

Thanks all and hope to see you on the trails or at Logan's Run! :steer:
