Hello all you Texans. As much I as want to attend this event, I made a deal with myself that I would not go until I had a functional rig. I am close, but need a dana 300. I found this 300 in Lufkin, TX. The prolem is I am in the bay area, I have a ride from Macon to me, but need the case to get from Lufkin to Macon. Can anyone deliver a dana 300 for me? Just pulled the trigger on a new set of wheels and 40" stickies for the new truck. I can't wait to finally wheel it!
He he. I can't wait!!! Truthfully, I've convinced myself (and my husband) that the stickies are a bit defensive in nature because the pinion angle on the truck is, um, off. If I start to bouncing I am going to break spectacularly. I am looking for max traction and to lower the rig down a couple of inches, and then see how we do. More tweaks will come with time...
Sobecause the truck is in Dallas, I am in Houston, and Round up is in Mason, I'll be driving all over Texas on the 12th and 13th. If anyone needs anything brought up from Houston or any points between Houston, Dallas, and Mason, let me know.
