Did you guys run into Corn?

Exhausting week...

VERY proud of Ben and TJ and the whole Homegrown Racing crew...they finished the KOH course in 24th about 10:25pm on Friday night...of ~127 racers, only 27 completed the course...6 of those after the 10p "cutoff" time...they had 3 flats...and helped a lot of people out as well, including putting a fire out on Shannon Campbells car AND flipping him back over...props on their finish AND their sportsmanship!

I took somewhere in the range of 3500 photos over the 4 days...lost my balance on Friday morning and ended up with a bruised knee and thigh and also a tweaked shoulder...plus a cracked D90 camera body...still took another 600 pics after that, but squeezing the body together to get it to work wasn't fun...still hiked thru Backdoor, all the way up Jack and around Chocolate Thunder tho...destroyed my new boots too, will toss them and go back to Vasque

7a/7p media meetings and spending all day taking pics and then editing a few to publish each nite killed any social time...never even wandered thru the Vendor stuff...saw a few people in passing, saw Georg drive by once, and never did get time to head out to see Calstyl or anyone else...I had intentions to make this a more "social" trip and failed miserably...never wandered the pits even once...

As they say, next year :)

A buddy of mine sent me some pics of this monstrosity. Said it had a Corvette engine to run hydraulic motors which turned the wheels, so no driveshafts. Had 52" Mickey Thompsons on it.
Anyone have more info on it?

I am assuming the squat is adjustable once it's ready for action...

My week at KOH

Yeah I was kept busy enough throughout the week that I never hit any of the vendors other than SxS Performance, HCR and Rugged Radios.
I saw 909, Woody in passing and a few others but I was so busy with work that I never got to enjoy Hammertown.

Between drunks, motorcycles attacking bomb craters, drunks and motorcycles attacking ruts I kept pretty busy, it was nice to get out and see places of the course that few could or did see.
We had every type of weather, my T-4 did great all over, only one flat on the KM2s, skids got some serious work.

How did Georges boy Rusty nuts do? I think he was co rider and George and Top loader were pitting for him...

You gonna drive one of these next year?

Nah I would break that in half in one day, the T-4 is well suited for the Hammers. I spend enough time out there I know where all the secret trails and routes are and get around really fast, short rock trails and open desert make for some fun trips.
Left my rig home this weekend and used a Polaris Ranger and I missed it quickly.
We set up another Polaris Ranger with a full extrication tool and fire suppression set up to cover the entire event, wasn't a rocket but could get to 80% of the event.
