Thursday or Friday, lcq event tuesday and wend will be in full view of hammertown

Thursday is the Every Man Challenge and the UTV race.

Friday is the 'big' race day. If you are making one day, to see the 'big' boys, then this is the day.

Generally, they have 2-3 designated spectator areas, all within sight of Hammertown...last year was Backdoor and Chocolate Thunder...the course and spectator map for 2013 has not been released yet.

Backdoor and CT are both the primary spectator areas again.
LCQ is a all new course not going over common trails.

I was out there yesterday for set up, lots of fence this year, a lot of remote extreme trails will be on the Jumbotron.
There will be a significant increase in open desert racing this year, but the rock trails will be increased also.
Maps out Friday, its a doozy.

Yeah, sounds like miles and miles of fence is up...and live satellite feeds of all the races too...

makes me wonder why I'm even bothering to drive 4000+ roundtrip miles...I can sit on the couch and likely have a better view...and be cleaner...

Planned to leave today...and there are 5+" on the ground now, and coming down hard...city plow is NOT happy with the Ram/gooseneck on the road...

yea...I'm thinking tomorrow makes more sense than today...uugh

I need a 20' enclosed trailer, not a 32' gooseneck...someday...

a big ol toterhome and enclosed hauler. if everyone would do their part and click on 25 ads a day, you'd be that much closer :)

have safe travels!

yep, Wally's bed lift...definite improvement in looks...makes the lines much nicer...ordered thru sxsperformance.com

The fence is two parts, one for Hammertown, fully enclosed with access via wristbands, the crowd fence is the same as last year, Backdoor has more due to the route and options in this years course.
I would suggest you plan for Elvis, Outer Limits, Jack and lots of old SCORE Rds.

Im close to going to that route again and dumping the bed box, my gear is too big for the box now and I need the fender room.
About a 1" of rain this weekend out there, mud and water on all the lake beds, dust should be way down for a while.

Vegas tonite...Hammertown tomorrow... I'll be in with the Homegrown crew...hoping to talk them into the ridge for camping, but suspect we we'll be close to the Vendor stuff (and the dust...uugh)
