Any particular hotel that Christo, Toyota and core sponsor group is staying?

For the record -for those who are considering this adventure....with all this Camping discussions- there are many of us staying at hotels. Just too far for many of us to pull a trailer.... :) This is going to be great!

And VRBO.... lots of ski condos available with pools and hot tubs. :)

Thought I would share a little tidbit about our special guest from Toyota. He was part of the initial rigorous testing for the 200 series platform.

Then maybe after a few drinks, he'll let something slip about the 300 series.

He's got some 'splaining to do on the radiator and starter.....

Hoping we keep it positive for large group Toyota/ARB presentations (or whatever Toyota/ARB have planned for Slee/Breck).
Wouldn't wanna turn it into a gripe session.

Yeah...just having fun.

I live in Evergreen. Will try and make it up there maybe for a time. Schedule fluid.

Just booked Site # 14 at Prospector. Someone took site 19 =(

Here's a video drive through of Loop B and Loop C (Excuse the poor quality, I'll have to reupload it in 1080):

Anyone have good recommendations for mobile mapping software that is friendly with Google Earth KMZs or KMLs?

Nice! Thanks for the video.

I use BackCountry Navigator. The interface is a little wonky but once you learn how to use it, it's a great tool. I generally download the map layers for the areas I'm planning on going to ahead of time. Importing KMZ/KMLs is cake.

I might have missed it but what days did you reserve? I'm about to snag a spot near you.

I'm leaning towards getting a camp water heater for showers. I wanted one anyways, I guess I'll expedite the order for this. Yeah, I'm a sissy :) but a nice shower while camping is amazing. Especially after a hike (or a night of debauchery).

I booked Thursday-Sunday. If all goes well we'll be there late Thursday night, otherwise Friday early afternoon. Definitely going to make the trail runs on Saturday.

If I was coming by myself I wouldn't have pulled the trailer just for this event. Just the cost of fuel from Chicago and back probably offsets a hotel for a couple nights. But Breckenridge will be the start of a 2 week family trip for us, which makes it cost effective and worth the hassle

Updated the schedule for Saturday's dinner. We'll be meeting at Breckenridge Brewery, which we will have a private area. Due to their schedule we have the area at 5pm so we'll wrap up trails that day around 4.

Elite Land Cruisers will be handing out swag bags and poker chips which will be good for a free drink. :)

Also currently we have 37 200's registered... can we get to 40?
