Gents,
I refreshed my 2008 soccer mom's suspension with the an OEM take-off suspension from a 2020 Heritage Edition, plus an OEM spacer up front. Added HE bronze BBS forged rims wrapped in BFGs. I went with the stock suspension to keep the wife happy with the ride quality but wanted just a touch of lift. It all worked out great, I think! With the OEM front spacer the net lift up front was right at 1.5" over stock (2008) and 2" rear. There's no question that the HE springs provide more clearance than stock TLC. Compared to a 2008, the HE suspension plus OEM front spacer maintains the original forward rake. The 2013s and newer TLCs are more leveled out (slight lift in the front and drop in the rear when compared to a stock 2008 suspension
).
Many thanks to John T. and Eric S. for their help.
Tim
