How do you know if your bearing are bad?
Jack up the wheel and spin it by hand, keeping your hands on the tire. If you feel any grinding, hesitation or stickiness and you're 100% sure it's not the rotor/pads, it's likely your bearing. Rotate it both directions to check. I also try to spin the tire as fast as I can and let it free spin and watch for hesitation.
Also, if you grab the tire while it is jacked up and you can wobble it around, either your bearing is shot or your tie rod end.
Lastly, if the bearing squeals or grinds while driving or turning, it's telling you.
