I just got it 2 nights ago and had some inquires. My seller didn't have the owner's manual, so I haven't really read through it as I usually do, but I'll probably get the online version for references after posting this but I bought the floor liner for front and back, but for the trunk liner, it has two options - with/without jump seats. I wasn't sure how to tell or which one I should get.
Also, I read that it's harder to swap out the enfotainment system if I have the touchscreen as the climate controls are a part of it and I read a forum on here about deleting it, but it was hard to understand it. How difficult is the process and is there a YT video of it? I might just bring it to the shop and see if they can do it honestly as it's hard to have a time set aside to do it w/ two babies as it feels like it should be accomplished in one sitting and if I do go that route, any unit that's recommended for reliability, good connectivity, and priced decently?
Also, I think my mirror just might be jacked up as the driver's side moves up and down, but not the passenger's side. Would that be an easy fix? I can still see what I need to see 80% but since it doesn't move up, I can't quite adjust exactly as I need it.
Are there any plug-in-n-play remote starters? I used to get remote starter from accessorides for my 4runners and GX460 and etc in the past, but I didn't see an option for 2005 LX470, so I was wondering if anyone used one here and had any successes with them.
I want to put the steel grill in the front as OEM bumper is banged up at some point, but can I do it on stock sus or do I have to swap it out? I had Dobinsons IMS on the GX and liked it, but if it's not required, I might not get sus swapped out until later. What do you recommend?
Lastly, the carpet thing in the trunk is worn out and some spots have come off (assuming from previous owner's dog?). Should I remove the carpet thing entirely? I'm not sure if that's easy replacement or if I should just try to buy the liner and put that on instead of worrying about getting the replacement carpet thing, but if/when I use the third row, I'd have to remove that liner so I think ultimately, I should still have that carpet thing but I'm not sure how easy it is to install one as the old one seems like it's sowed on or something as it's not free floating around.
