Wondering if anybody is familiar with Roadster Auto in Houston, TX? I don't know them and I'm always skeptical of eBay dealerships (although, I recognize there are many honest dealerships on eBay).

If anyone local has seen the truck your feedback would certainly be appreciated.

I've not seen this truck, but I've been to their lot. It's a real lot, with a shop across the street where they do their own work. They specialize in buying these -- adding the lights, racks, lifts, bumpers, tires, snorkels, etc. -- and re-selling. I've never done business with them, but spoke to one of the owners at length one day and he seems like a stand up guy. Hope that helps. Good luck, and BTW, congrats to whoever just picked up the black 2002 LX470 from Scott Henderson!

Thanks Thingfisher! That is helpful.

Wow, if the installation of the ARB bumper is any indication of their overall work, I’d be nervous.

Being new to these vehicles and trying to educate myself on what I need to look for on used ones, what is so obviously wrong with the install that it is clearly visible in pictures. I appreciate the insights.

First of all, it is fitted up tight against the lower edge of the fender. It should be .5" below it all around. See the picture of mine
installed by Slee Offroad properly. Secondly, it is not a current ARB 100 series bumper (see my photo for a proper 100 bumper).

I see what you mean about the gap, it seems not consistent on the other one, I can't tell a difference between the bumpers though. Thanks for the info.
