Isn’t this a sales listing? Since when is it a crime to let simple supply/demand work? Arbitrage (or flipping as you guys call it) has existed for ages and will continue unless some socialist a-holes decide “it’s not fair” for some people to profit for their effort while others pay for it.
@ace10 I just saw somebody buy a $25,000 147k example from a dealer and everyone said how it was a great buy.
I sold my 2006 with 150k for $21.5k earlier this year.
Personally as an owner I want values to go up. And yes Jonathan found me THREE examples that have been excellent ... they weren’t the cheapest yet they also aren’t complete basket cases. To each their own.
Capitalism is good last I checked.
If you want to buy from a flipper, that's your prerogative. Right? A licensed, law-abiding flipper, as is the case with the OP.
Not with the douchebage who posted immediately prior to you.
Cruisershack/D Marks is a lying curbstoner who steals money from people.
He bondos over rot and passes it off as pristine.
Oh, and he rolls back odos.
All while bragging about it.
I think we all can agree that scumbags like him are hurting everyone with whom he comes in contact. He is a garbage.
But back to the subject at hand... it sounds like you don't want others to have access to the information I have posted. And I cannot imagine why that's the case. Or am I mistaken?
You mentioned arbitrage in your post, so I assume you are finance-savvy... what are your thoughts on the "Efficient market hypothesis?" It's certainly relevant in this instance.
Have you ever been involved with a car brand or model which has been taken over by flippers? If you have, you'd know that it doesn't do any good to owners who want actually enjoy their vehicles. Whether for transportation or a hobby. It's happened a lot. And it sucks.
If you own a rig, an increasing market value on it DOES YOU ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD. It makes your insurance go up. You pay more property taxes(if applicable). The likelihood of it getting stolen increases. Where's the benefit? Oh, right, only if you sell it.
Capitalism is fine. Heck, it's great. But if someone is going to use a "free" resource, such as Mud, to peddle their goods then they have to be prepared to face a critical evaluation. Whether you like it, or not.
