I found the accident report number on autocheck and then paid for the full report from WSP.

Looks like autocheck is a bit cheaper. I'm guessing they pull the same info from the same sources?

Washington State Police?

Yep. In WA they are the clearinghouse for all accident reports regardless of location where the accident occurred. Reports are public information but cost $9.50.

CarFax/AutoCheck are virtually identical. AutoCheck is a little less expensive and is owned by Experian for whatever that is worth. Neither will catch things that are not reported.

Yep, looking for an 03-05 for Mrs. OregonLC. There were a ton around when I wasn't looking, now market seems dry. But then I'm picky: west coast, tan interior, no damage history, < 120k, etc, etc....

yes, it was out of pure luck that i stumbled across your post. Thanks! you really saved me a bunch of hassle going over there to check it out. kinda curious why the airbags deployed and the title is still clean? WSP should've reported that no?

It was on the Ford who hit her; it had dual airbag deployment and was totaled. I pulled a separate AutoCheck for the other vehicle to get that part.
