$1800 for HZ version r151 is a good price (compared to $1200 for used as posted, no dig intended-just an observation), got a price for a PZ version? seems i might have buggered it the last trip out.

There is some kind of adapter plate between the tranny and transfer on the one pictured, not sure what type it is or what it was used for.

2400 hours of even mine use is nothing for a 1HZ even in 4 low to the floor, if it has been maintained well then no probs at all - it's a high rev engine, and alot of the time a mine will install a rev limiter.

good eye Louis,
it looks like the tranny has been cocked to the right about 4" ... interesting.

as for hours vs condition, depends completely on maintainence...

I was wondering what that plate was in the picture. I was hoping that it was not needed b/c I don't have one and I've yet to bolt the case onto the back of the tranny.

do you guys know what shifter linkages will work for the r151 split tcase. I have one off a bj42 split case behind a h55. It looks like it will almost work.

agreed on the maintenance aspect

the guy who had the motor said it was his work truck in the mine, he said they put the adapter plate to rotate the tcase down to reduce the driveshaft angles for the herth axles that were in the hzj79

Bumping this old thread with a question
This P/N 33030-60800 is listed above

What transmission is it ?

I don’t see you got an answer. I believe the 33030-60800 is the R151 for a 1PZ.

Looooooooong distance bump but I found this thread while digging on some 1HZ-H55F info for a tech article I’m working on (similar to my H55F input shaft thread). If in the future, anyone is hunting a 33030-60850 (similar to the 33030-60890) five speed H55F to run behind a 1HZ or 1HD variant, we’ve got you covered:
