FEBRUARY 04 UPDATE: The LX470 is back on the market after a ski trip hiatus. New timing belt and water pump replaced at local dealership on February 02, 2016. Enjoyed several trips to Salt Lake and Montana ski mountains in the past several months. This machine is running great, a pleasure to drive no matter the road conditions. Needs nothing, no leaks, still clean. Odometer now reads 157K miles. $12,000. Here's a link for more info:

Greetings Mudsters,

I'm selling the LX470. It has 147K + miles and the price is $13,500. Color is Vapor Blue Metallic. It runs great, looks great, and I'm confident the buyer will be very pleased.

If you have any questions, shoot me a message or give me a jingle at 406-925-3529. I am not a text-er.

Thanks, John.

I'm not a huge fan of the two-tone on these early model 100 Series, but the color combo on your LX looks awesome! I really like the interior/exterior contrast. Good Luck....Nice Rig!

I'm with you, not much for two-tone usually but there is something uniquely appealing about this rig's exterior. Looks like a Montana sky at dusk.

I'm with you, not much for two-tone usually but to me there is something uniquely appealing about this rig's exterior. The paint the makers used is subtle and it really takes on and reflects tints from the sky. The color resembles a Montana sky before dark after a good rain -- a dusky silver-violet-blue thing happening. The trim graphite color below contrasts well with the reflective blue. The rig gets a lot of looks, no kidding. Thanks ^ for the well-wishes!

No prob. You should add your comparison of the Montana Sky and your LX to your CL and Mud ad. That alone would make me buy it :)

I've owned this rig for only six months but my wife and I are really going to miss it. Could be a heartbreaker if somebody local buys it and I see it around town (reflecting the Montana sky!). One Cruiser is enough for us, though, and we decided to keep the 80 after months of deliberating and enjoying both.

Price lowered for Mudheads. $13,000.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call. Thanks, John

Still for sale?

Yes, still for sale. Now has 150K + miles on it. Drove it up to Alberta last week. Still smooth.

Could you reactivate you craigslist link or paste the information here. Do you have any interior pics? AHC? Third row seats? Where was vehicle before you purchased, rust?

Here's a link to the CL listing: 2001 Lexus LX470 Lowered the price to $12,500 considering it's getting closer to time for a new timing belt. Let me know if you have any questions, (406) 925-3529. Thanks, John

Recently took the LX to South Dakota. Ran perfect. It now has over 152K miles. Mudhead price lowered to $12K.

I never see this color except this month there is 3 exact ones for sale

On here in la
Yours
And the other one on mud (ahc replaced and all new belts)

I have yet to see another vehicle this color on the road since I bought it and had never seen one until this one's previous owner pulled up in it. It's subtle; kind of blue, kind of gray, kind of silver, and all three at once. As I've said, the color matches the sky just before dark. Apparently, it's a great time to buy a great vehicle in a great color.

I was up in Montana in march. My uncle bought a large hotel there, so we went up there and did Glacier and Flathead lake etc.

I was looking for this EXACT color LX for 3 years, NEVER found a single one. And suddenly there has been 3 for sale, all within $5 dollars of each other and mileage delta of about 20k.

:)

Mileage update: Drove the LX to Salt Lake and back for T-day, nearing 154500 miles. Considering replacing the timing belt and raising the price. (Previous owner replaced timing belt at 65K.) It's running like a champ, including on icy roads on the return trip. Let me know if you have any questions! By the way, I could be easily persuaded to deliver.
