2001 DRL's

So, I wanted to do the DRL delete per the link in the FAQ (DRL Question on LC) and my wires and connectors up under the steering column look nothing like the pics in the link. Has anybody else done this mod with a 2001?
Does anyone know if it is still going to be the red wire with a blue stripe? I found one under there but it looks smaller in diameter than the one pictured so I'm hesitant to cut it.

Do you have or know someone with Techstream? You can turn off the DRL's with Techstream.

Nope. It's the factory scan tool for dealerships. Built by Snap-on for them.
You might check with a local shop that has a scan tool, see if they can command the drl's off, but gonna say probably not. I've gotten into mine with my modis ultra from snap-on, coverage is kinda skimpy for the 2001 year model.
