I bought this originally as an adventure ride but just didn't ever get to use it as intended. I never ever ever thought I'd be selling it, but I can't keep two cars right now. I've always been meticulous about maintaining it and keeping everything clean to spot stuff that might be trouble. Over all it is awesome ride that I would not hesitate to drive just about anywhere, and am I am really bummed I have to sell. Most of the stuff I put on or had installed was with the assistance from the guys at Slee and most of the work was done at AutoInk. I also poked around the forums here and there, pick up minor parts from other members and vendors (like the 555 tie rods), and the general tips that can help make these types of vehicles run almost forever.
SOME DETAILS:
203k miles
Silver / Grey
Old Man Emu 2.5" heavy lift kit purchased from Slee
Slee lower rear arms
SPC upper control arms
Slee torsion bars
Slee Blueberry front bumper
Warn M8000 winch
Slee differential drop
Slee front armor plate (the steel one)
White Knuckle Off Road sliders
THULE roof rack
THULE bike racks (x2, still have the boxes and used them exactly once)
K & N cold air intake
555 outer tie rods (brand new)
555 inner tie rods (brand new)
Optima Yellow Top battery
Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/75r 16 (literally, brand new..less than 50 miles on them)
Wet Okale front seat covers
I still have the back 3rd row seats
I still have the original running boards
Full size spare (the tire is a Goodyear MTR though, I ran these tires before switching)
At 174K mile mark in 2016 I had an oil leak and to fix it the engine had to be pulled out to replace the main seal. I had the transmission taken out too. Everything inspected, cleaned, and replaced as needed. I used OEM Toyota parts where I could. That work included:
New power steering pump OEM
New steering rack OEM
New water pump
New radiator OEM
New oil pump
Timing belt
All the associated hardware, hoses, cables, etc., were all replaced at this time too.
I have all the records for everything I purchased and all the work. I also have all the records from the previous guy g who owned it going back to 2005. I got it serviced / checked regularly and I always used Mobile synthetic oil.
ISSUES / ITEMS THAT NEED ATTENTION:
The steering wheel cover is on its last leg
My 6 year old son stuffed a bunch of spare change in the stereo CD slot and the radio doesn't work properly
The THULE roof rack is cracked and has an egg shaped hole in it on both sides
I only have 1 key that doesn't have the door lock or alarm buttons on it
The middle console latch thing broke
The engine cover is cracked at one of the attachment points, but I have a new one - it just needs a clean and install
The paint is peeling on the hood and roof
Text or email with any questions.
Thanks
Vincent
