I am looking for a shop to rebuild the transmission in my 2000 LC. The folks in my immediate area do not inspire confidence. Any recommendations for a rebuild shop would be appreciated.

Starting to look like the most viable option
Don't throw away your old transmission. From what I see in the past 11 months, any 2000 trans failure on highway makes the trans to be 100% useless (except input/output and case), so later on you'll see there will be a good demand for 2000 trans that has NOT been granaded.

I don’t plan on throwing it away. I’ll probably get it rebuilt next year and then have a spare.
