Bought my 2000 new. Have 159,000 miles. Always serviced by dealer. I just replaced power steering pump, rotor, caliper, pads. Great vehicle.

...I wouldn't worry about the tranny. From what I have read, it usually happens with less than 75K on it.
but I bought one anyway No transmission issue here, but I do have a driveshaft/u joint thunk.
Most of us have the 'thunk'... and its not year related.
and now I have it.135k on my Y2K truck. I have only had one O2 sensor, one coil pack, and a CV give out on me.
Anyone have an opinion? Just curious as I've never had the problem but also never understood why it was a problem.What if you don't replace the manifold? A tic tic when idling and cold doesn't seem big enough to spend $1000 to repair.
