Met my Father-In-Law 13yrs ago for the first time in Tucson. It was during this visit I asked about the LC in his garage on a battery tender. Occasionally he would drive it to visit us in Phoenix. Annually I would make a point to remind him 'IF the day comes to part with it - we're interested'.

Doctor owned, OCD is his norm.
Purchased new in 2000 and ONLY serviced at the same Tucson Toyota dealership.
Kept every receipt hardcopy since new - religiously following the recommended maintenance.
Garage kept with a towel 'protecting' the Driver's seat.
Never seen snow/salt ...and dirt only via a road construction detour!

118k miles when we 'took delivery' a month ago.
This forum has been invaluable for fixing the Driver's door and hatch actuators.
Removed the lower body side cladding with steps. (wondering if there is a market/good home for these?)
Removed the third row seats and seat belt assemblies and cargo mat (worth reselling?)
Installed a TrekBoxx generously gifted to me by a former coworker (I'm still in awe, he also installed it).

Selling our 19' TRD Pro 4R (posting tonight on this site) as the room, V8, iconic era and $8 AZ registration has more appeal!

Portion of that sale will go to 'Stage 1'...suspension (with Dobinson MRR shocks) and front bumper/integrated winch. In addition to ancillary preventive maintenance like T-fittings I've learned about wise spare parts to carry on trips. Long term - Gamiviti rack, 360d lighting, rear tire carrier, LRA fuel tank in the spare location, etc. Have a TRX as a daily driver so engine mods aren't a priority as much as reliability/servicing.

Nightly devouring 100 series threads on this site, recommendations and tribal knowledge! Backdrop includes Glamis to KOH/King of the Hammers, high speed desolate NV trips (including dirt) to Fin's/Hell Revenge many times in Moab. Finally it's broken free from it's 'indoor' garage life!

That’s an heirloom. Glad to see it will be put to good use.

Now THIS is a find! Congrats on finally taking possession, and I love your plans for it. She's probably very excited to hear those plans, too! :)

Miles of smiles waiting to be had... Congrats!

Congrats she's a rarity. I'm a huge fan of receipts and record keeping with our trucks.
