Please post pics of your installation if you can. I'd be interested in the sliders, if installation is idiot-proof.

While I was typing it I heard "The Ride of the Valkyries" !! :D

You haven't upgraded tires yet, have you ?

I have not yet. I am still trying to figure out which are the best for desert/sand driving.
Any suggestions?

I think the Nitto Terragrapplers, Bridgestone Revo AT, pro comp at's... there are a few good ones out there.

x2. A good AT tire will probably be your best bet. Depending on how bulletproof you need it, there are varying levels of toughness vs. more compliant highway ride. The old standby BFGs shouldn't be overlooked, as well as some of the newer tires like the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor (what I went with), the Firestone Destination, or even the Pirelli Scorpion, in addition to the excellent tires mentioned by James above.

Where's the slider pics???

I don't think I mentioned that I received them yet did I? They are on the truck.

They will get here when they get here. Then I will post when I receive it.

I have primarily stuck to BFG A\T's and M\T's on everything from Scouts (early '80's), Big Bronco's (mid 1980's) to my present 100. I did stray a couple of times to Yoko "Mud Diggers", Goodyear ATS and Michelin LTX's but the BFG would probably be my choice. I am open to some other suggestions though...Read good things (on MUD) about B'stone Revos..Had B'stones on my 1995 928 GTS (never, ever should have sold it :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:), but not had them on a 4X4..

NICE!!!! take some pics and tell us how they perform off road. Keep us updated!!:D

I don't think they will do anything for the actual performance off road, but might help with me leaving marks from my mistakes :)

On my way to pick them up!! Pics to come tonight!
